Those four words, whether coming from a significant other or the California department of unemployment, are never good to hear.
I just got a letter in the mail from Unemployment basically saying this - rather, that we need to have a “phone interview,” which is really just government jargon for the dreaded “we need to talk” talk. Is unemployment breaking up with me, or is this just protocol?
