Besties On Ice

Pretty much a blog about my bestie and me ice skating, or just using ice skating metaphors, or really nothing of the sort.

I just quit twitter...

(after 6 or 7 months of sporadic and non-commital updates) because I find it narcissistic and utterly uninteresting (sure, the same can be said for a blog, but you’re choosing to read this, and you can do it once a day, or once a year, or as often or as seldom as you care to do), and wish not to impose my (and your) mundane thoughts and quippy one liners (even if you think - ESPECIALLY if you think they’re clever, I promise you they’re not) to the masses. I’ve also found myself more often than not coming home from a bar and writing hate tweets to twitter. It just makes me angry.

Let me say this: no one gives a shit whether or not you’re eating a sandwich right now or “@just spent 10 hours in the studio!” or whatever the fuck you just did that you feel the need to announce to the world in 140 characters or less.

If you know me, then you know what I’m up to. And if you want to know, pick up the phone and call me, because I guarantee that we’ll have a much more gratifying conversation - even though it’s WAY more direct than we’re used to having to communicate, so I’m sorry for that.
